Good news for volunteering in Queensland

Following the release of the Queensland Parliamentary Inquiry final report on Volunteering, Council on the Ageing Queensland warmly welcomes the direction it sets: a single whole-of-government plan, stronger local volunteering hubs, faster sign-ups that recognise experience, and more portable checks to cut repeat paperwork. These reforms align closely with what we’ve advocated and will make it easier for older Queenslanders to step in and help.
