Energy efficiency – a major win for consumers

 

At the Building Minister’s Forum, held 18 July in Sydney, to discuss a range of issues facing the building and construction sector.

Ministers agreed to the development of enhanced energy efficiency provisions for residential buildings in the National Construction Code, informed by the COAG Energy Council’s trajectory for low energy buildings. The Australian Building Codes Board will shortly release a paper for public consultation on options for implementing these provisions in the NCC.

Technology and Community Resilience Survey

 

The Technology and Community Resilience Survey is a survey conducted in conjunction with Murdoch University. This survey will assist Energy Queensland in understanding how open customers are to helping each other and the electricity network following a natural disaster. This survey is open to all Queenslanders and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. There are 5 x $50 VISA Debit Gift Cards to be given away.

This survey will close on the 9th December.

2018 Queensland Household Energy Survey

 

The Queensland Household Energy Survey (QHES) is an annual survey held in conjunction with Powerlink. This survey is critical in providing Energy Queensland with useful data for energy usage and renewable technologies. This informs our Corporate Strategy as well as forecast loads on our networks. This survey is open to all Queenslanders and will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. There are 10 x $100 EFTPOS Cards to be given away.

This survey will close on the 2nd December.
