Right Where You Live is a program designed to help you better understand your rights.

Everybody has their own ideas about how and where they’d like to live for the rest of their lives.

The decision is very individual and can be complex.

Funded until June 30, 2019, the Right Where You Live initiative aims to assist  Queenslanders (currently or considering) living in residential services, retirement villages and manufactured home parks to understand amendments to the three acts of legislation covering these living situations.

Our group community information sessions aim to help you to:

  • Identify important considerations before moving into a Retirement
Village or buying a Manufactured Home in a Residential Park
  • Understand what laws have changed recently and how this might affect
you as either a current or future resident or manufactured homeowner
  • Find out where to go for advice and support

Are you in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Wide Bay, or South East Queensland?

Find out more about your rights in a retirement village, a manufactured home in a  residential park – or as someone considering your options for retirement living, by booking a FREE community session today for your local community group.

Sessions are delivered by volunteer Peer Educators, who are seniors themselves, are fully-trained and are volunteering their time to help talk you through information in a way that is easy to understand.
