Nobody can predict the future. Planning ahead can bring peace of mind to you, your family and your friends. It can ensure that your financial, medical and personal wishes are respected and followed if you are unable to act yourself.
COTA is offering free information sessions to discuss the importance of planning ahead and ways to identify key people in your life who know, respect and will act on your wishes should you be unable to act yourself. Sessions will focus on Enduring Powers of Attorney using a case study to highlight the importance of planning ahead.
Sessions run for about an hour and are supported by resources for each participant. Sessions are available from February 2017 to May 2018 and are offered in various locations across Queensland. For more information, download the information brochure and session poster.
